What is the condition of today's YOGA!? ... It is in the sense of being extremely famous ✅️ not in the sense of being glorious popular!! If you Google these two English words have different shades of meanings
Today Yoga has reached everywhere across the world...
Its notice is being taken at an international level!
"On this very path," Ayurveda's gallop 🐎🐴 is also moving very fast... In the coming years, Ayurveda too will become popular in the same form as today's Yoga, in fact, even more than that... not glorious!
It will have reached everywhere in the world at an international level... but just as today's Yoga is hundreds of kilometers away from the original Yoga Darshana and Yoga Shastra, there is not even a remote connection between the original Yoga Darshana-Shastra and today's Yoga... except for a similarity in name, there is no relation whatsoever of the nature and purpose of the original Yoga Darshana-Shastra with today's Yoga!!!
Exactly the same is going to happen to "that Ayurveda" which is leaping towards tomorrow with the speed at which the original Ayurvedic Shastra is moving today!!!
"The same" means just as today's Yoga has been ruined compared to the original Yoga Darshana-Shastra... exactly in the same way, compared to the original Ayurvedic Shastra, the Ayurveda "leaping fast from today towards tomorrow" will certainly be ruined in a more shattered, broken, and brittle form, there is no doubt about this.
Original Yoga Darshana-Shastra is for the mind, for the removal of the defects of the mind; in fact, Yoga Shastra is a promoter of Moksha, meaning it is the path leading towards liberation...
But even to say that today's "Yoga" is for such a mind or for Moksha would be extremely hilarious 🤣 and mocking 😏😖 because today's Yoga is dedicated only and only to the "body."
Today's Yoga has no connection with the original Yoga Darshana written by Lord Patanjali Maharishi, or Patanjal Yoga Shastra, or even the Bhagavad Gita, which is also a Brahmavidya-based Yoga Shastra... with all these, "today's Yoga" has no relation!!!
Today's Yoga relates to the practical and actually corrupt books like Gheranda Samhita or similar later-period texts which came much after these original Yoga-related scriptures and only share a similarity in name!
Original Yoga Darshana is of an Ashtanga (eight-limbed) nature, in which after Yama and Niyama, the order of the two limbs Asana and Pranayama comes, and further ahead come the four limbs: Dharana, Dhyana, Pratyahara, and Samadhi.
But today's Yoga does not consider the first two limbs at all...
In fact, the 10 matters within Yama and Niyama are basically not known to all those who follow, adopt, practice today's Yoga, or they have been deliberately ignored or set aside or thrown into the dustbin 🗑... because they include and mention human life values or virtues like Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (truth), Asteya (non-stealing), Brahmacharya (celibacy), Aparigraha (non-possessiveness), Ishwara Pranidhana (surrender to God), Shaucha (purity).
The man of today's practical world has no use, connection, importance, or concern even a bit for these ten things.
Today's Yoga is a breathing exercise that provides various body postures, poses, and exaggerated benefits or actually unscientific, blatant false benefits in the form of various fantasies, fancy fads—like Kapalbhati, Bhastrika, etc., and a new invention of Asanas given strange English names; this is what common people understand as Yoga today.
To fuel or strengthen this misconception, many extremely popular Gurus or Yoga sellers, traders, marketers, both offline and online, are creating havoc everywhere.
Through that, to sell Yoga however possible, to whomever possible, to "earn money and fame"... that is the only objective in it.
The purposes by which the original Yoga Darshana is inspired, arisen, and instructed—like peace of mind or Moksha or removal of mental defects—today's Yoga, meaning breathing exercises and physical postures/poses, has no connection with them... let it be.
Since Yoga Darshana is not our domain/authority, it is not right to speak on it in detail... but without this comparison, it is not possible to describe the decline, downfall, corruption of Ayurveda that is happening and will continue to happen, and how the nature of Ayurveda in the future will become more ugly, hideous, pathetic, unscientific, and more of the nature of market-trade-sale-selling, without comparing it with the ancient and current form of Yoga Shastra!!!
Just as if we want to go to the third floor of an eight-story building, we go up the first two floors by stairs or even if we go by lift, the lift goes to the third floor only after crossing those first two floors... we don't reach the third floor directly from the ground floor... there is a specific order... first, second, and only then the third and fourth floor... but today, every man doing Yoga, skipping these first two limbs, first sections, first floors of Yama-Niyama, jumps directly to the floors of Asana-Pranayama, which is wrong, defective, and actually directionless foolishness.
Keeping the original principles of the Shastra aside, the industry of selling things which are not even Ayurveda under the name of Ayurveda, just to get money and fame, is going on everywhere very boldly, shamelessly, and brazenly...
In which, selling massage, malish, cosmetics, Suvarnaprashan, Garbhasanskar, Shirodhara, Wellness Home, Wellness Resort, Ayurvedic Dinacharya, Residential Guru-cool (Guru-school), Dhanvantari body-tags, sites...
Anyone teaching, or rather selling, any subject in any number of days for any amount of money online/offline,
Selling Chyawanprash like a snack or recipe from some hotel, in which the proportion of Amla and sugar in today's practice is extremely unscientific, conveniently turning a blind eye towards this,
Insisting and forcing Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis) and medicines of Rasa Shastra and "continuing to sell" them saying it is Ayurveda,
Spreading the illusion deliberately that everything can be known in the touch of three fingers of the pulse, such as the five types of Doshas, even when it is clearly stated to diagnose the patient only after observing and examining all things in every way... (Ato’bhiyuktah satatam sarvamalochya sarvatha)... that everything is known through Nadi Pariksha...
Continuing to sell Rasa Kalpas (mercurial/mineral formulations), which are extremely inconsistent, contradictory, strange, and opposite to Ayurvedic Bhaishajya Kalpana, which are basically 99% burnt, scorched, reduced to ash, and overcooked (dagdhapaki), saying they are a part of Ayurveda...
Apart from this, selling Acupuncture as Viddha,
Performing so-called Agni Karma of the kind not mentioned in the Shastra,
Using machines made by Modern Science... calling it Ayurvedic Treatment or Cosmetology... selling products for cheeks and hair (gaal aur baal), selling Abhyanga oil, Ubtan, shampoo, lip balm, lipstick, so many such chaotic, unregulated, unscientific, unethical practices...
And most importantly and worst of all, creating a commercial web that lures, deceives, and loots the Annadata (provider) patient, trapping the patient as a customer, client, or actually a sacrificial goat, and their exploitation, misleading, cheating, deprivation, and looting is today's universal practice.
Of course, there can be extremely rare and honorable exceptions to the situation described 🙏🏼.
But most of the newly arriving students, youths becoming new Vaidyas, and most established existing Ayurveda practitioners, cannot even read the sentences in the original scriptures/texts properly... therefore, understanding them is even more impossible... and that which cannot be read, which hasn't been understood... to "practice" that is an extremely humorous, contradictory, and actually pathetic and disgusting thing...
But there is no control over this... in fact, no one even feels that this is wrong.
Just as today's Yoga is limited only to strange asanas and breathing exercises with exaggerated benefits, away from original Yoga Darshana-Shastra...
Exactly in the same way, by completely ruining Ayurveda, taking it away from the original Shastra... only the business, practice, trade of Ayurveda for getting money—selling, trade, sale, market—is currently going on in most places....
And every new batch that comes will continue to come more distant, unfamiliar, ignorant, and unknown to the original texts, verses, and original science.
And compared to government or government-aided colleges, every new batch of mediocre intelligence, trivial capacity, and beggarly attitude, coming from private colleges by paying huge fees in lakhs, will not even have the capacity to understand or read the Shastra...
Unfortunately, those for whom it is never possible to lead a life by practicing Ayurvedic science and curing patients... those who do not have such a possibility, capacity, and confidence... only such people, for employment, bread and butter, join as teachers in new private colleges that pop up like mushrooms in every lane, forest, ghat, mountain, corner, village, and taluka... even in that, 20 to 80 percent of teachers are "Ghost" teachers on paper... therefore, what kind of "products" (manufactures) will be produced from such teachers and such colleges, how much malpractice, malnutritioned, malnourished... falsely educated... actually third-grade, rejectable quality they will be... there is no need to think to tell this!!!
Therefore, from here on... the people in whose hands Ayurveda is going to go, 99% of them will be people who have never read, known, learned, or understood the Shastra!!!
Therefore, just as today's "Yoga" has been ruined compared to Yoga Darshana-Shastra due to marketing... exactly in the same way... Ayurveda too will be ruined in an even worse form, this is 100, 200, 1000% certain!!! 💯% ✅️
