New Samhitaa... Yugaanuroopa Samhitaa
Whatever is not demonstrable & Whatever is not dispensible ~should~ *MUST* be discarded ... not even be mentioned to avoid the possibility of confusion

Non dispensible... vaataa pitta kapha & their 5 types, aakaasha
Adhikarana baahya out of scope of Ayurveda...
Aatma manas yoga rasashastra naadeepareekshaa
Irrelevant sthanas ... sootra vimaana indriya kalpa & siddha ... contents of these sthanas should be placed in Purusha/Shaareera, Vyadhi/Roga or Aushadha/Chikitsa Sthaanam as per the reference to/of subject
Only 3 sthanas necessary
Purusha, Vyadhi and Aushadha.
Purusha/Shaareera : anatomy & physiology / rachana & kriya there is nothing about physiology/kriya in shaareera sthaana (except few referencesin ch shaa 6 and A Hr Shaa 3)
ROGA sthaana should be as per vruddhi and kshaya of 4 mahabhootas respectively excluding aakaasha ... Roga sthaana should include/identify/evaluate new anukta diseases as per this criterion
Aushadha Sthaanam
It shoul be in concurrence with Roga Sthaana
Traditional jvara raktapitta or jvara atisaara order should be changed. Because most of the Rogas described in Ayurveda are lakshanas ... not actually diseases.
तस्योपयोगोऽभिहितश्चिकित्सां प्रति सर्वदा ।
भूतेभ्यो हि परं यस्मान्नास्ति चिन्ता चिकित्सिते ।।१३।।
Reminding this as basic decoding system, all the NEW Anukta Hetu & Lakshana Skandha should be derived in Roga Sthaanam
& accordingly, for these changed new hetuskandha and new lakshana skandha ...
*New Aushadha Skandha Should be designed*... by discussing and including many new formulae from current era successful Vaidya like Mahadevan Jamadagni Tapankumar Bendale
Though charaka is said great in chikitsita ... today no one follows his chikitsa sootra jvara in real practice ... it is true about all the diseases.
Charaka's chikitsa generally begins with snehapana shodhana ... which is seldom followed by the majority of current era practitioners.
All are generally giving random/self-designed combo of single herb+samhitokta kalpa+bhasma+multicontent rasakalpa ... all mixed/put together in a paper pack (pudi) ... that too generally hand dispensed without identical exactly similar dose in each pudi. No measurement. No protocol. No SOP. Everyone has its own meri marji ... no discipline/no guidelines for dose and duration
So nothing from previous Chikitsaa sthaana is followed actually in real practice
Hence new Aushadha/chikitsa Sthaanam as per the CONTENTS of Roga Sthaanam is to be written according to yuganurupa sandarbha and NEED
Things which really exist ~should~ *MUST* be included newly
Pancreas thyroid hormones ovaries prostate , pakvaashaya is not only below naabhi ... but it surrounds nabhi from all 3 sides except from below brain nervous system ~यकृत~ liver 4 chambers of heart ~हृदय~ ...and true functions of these all
Even though we create new Samhita, still all previously existing Samhitaa will be existing and remain accessible FOR EVER & For Everyone, in future also
So let conceive and deliver really NEW... not just refurbished
IF Nothing from previous existing Samhitas is to be kept away, and all contents of previous Samhitaa is to COMPILED only ... then far more smarter job is done by Vaagbhata as his time tested AshtanagaHrudayam. It is Enough & Sufficient.
Ayurveda bhaishajya kalpana has base of kvaatha ... all the kalpas are derivatives of kvaatha.
Bhaishajya kalpana of rasashastra is COMPLETELY different and entirely MISMATCHING with kvaatha based Ayurveda bhaishajya kalpana
Hence, Rasashastra must be identified as a separate independent non-Ayurveda medicine system as that of other currently identified so called ISMs
Much more to say ...
But this is enough to indicate the direction in which NEW Samhita should be...
And New Samhita, if it is for students and practitioners of current time, then New Samhita must be written in PROSE AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE
